2. What do you know about Mesolithic age?

Began around 10,000BC. Tools were made of Microliths. Sites with Mesolithic art are Bhimbhetka, Adamgarh and Mirzapur.

The term Neolithic was coined by Sir John Lubbock in his book “Pre historic times”. They did agriculture and grew fruits and corns. They also domesticated animals like cattle. Important sites are Mehergarh, Chirand, Piklihal. The earliest evidence of the use of pottery was found in Chopani Mando

4. What do you know about Paleolithic age?

Paleolithic culture developed in Pleistocene period (when ice covered earth). Their tools like hand axes, choppers etc were made of hard rock Quartzite. People feed on hunting and gathering fruits and vegetables. They lived in caves. Homo sapiens first appeared towards the last of this phase. This age is roughly divided into lower, middle and upper paleolithic.

5. What do you know about stone copper phase?

The other name of this phase is Chalcolithic phase. Stone and Copper were used. They were not acquainted with burnt bricks. People used pottery of which black and red ware were popular. Worshipped mother goddess and bull.
